This renovation honored one of Portland’s oldest commercial buildings still standing in Northwest Portland. While persevering the existing charm, the property was transformed into a boutique hotel with fully custom interiors. The rooms and amenities are enhanced through the placement of bold colors and timeless details with premier views of downtown.

This fully custom solution provides a home away from home for guest’s extended stays. The suites were designed to support quick meals, remote work and rest. The layout still feels spacious and elegant with timeless materials aligned with brand standards. The design team celebrated the views and created spaces for gathering and connecting with others.

This multidisciplinary team worked in tandem to update the hotel and marketplace at one of the largest truck stops in Portland – Jubitz Truck Stops. A2 Designs crafted a cohesive visual language that connects public and private spaces, elevating the overall guest experience.
